The Cambridge Drawing Society, of which Ronald Searlewas once a member, are having their annual exhibition at the Guildhall at the moment. I popped in to get out of all this same-ol'-same-ol'-sunshine we're having this winter whereupon I found loads of stuff I wanted to buy but most of all a couple of works by an artist called Julie McGrath of which this is a detail of 'Voyager'. I broke the 'Absolutely No Photography' rule obviously but I figured I needed to remember the picture that I was contemplating selling a Godchild in order to buy. I mean, i love it but it's £400. How much do you get for a kidney these days...?
